Information we may collect from you

Where we store your personal data

If you are an existing customer, we may also contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale to you.

Disclosure of your information
We may disclose your personal information to any member of the Kuhex Group of Companies.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties:

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets; and
  • if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use.

Access to information
The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

How to access your personal file (Subject Access Request – SAR)
The Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) gives you the right to see personal information we hold about you. If you want copies of this information, you can provide us with a written request. Once we receive your request, along with all items as specified below, we’ll get back to you within 40 days.

Please note that we are not in the position to accept any verbal requests received.

Submitting your request by post
To submit a request by post, send a signed letter* with the following information:

  • Your full name and address
  • Your Kuhex account number (if available)
  • Details of any specific information you require (e.g. call records, images, personal data)
  • A cheque for £10* (admin charge) made payable to Kuhex Limited
  • A copy of proof of identity* (e.g. a Photocopy of your passport, or driver’s licence)
  • A copy of proof of address* (i.e. for example a copy of a most recent utility bill showing the same name and address as on your Kuhex account)

*Please note, these specified items are mandatory in order for us to process your request in timely manner and in line with regulatory requirements. Not providing us with the required items will lead ultimately to delays and potentially rejection to your Subject Access Request.
